Mia Wasikowska (born circa 1989,^[1] in Canberra)^[2] is an Australian actress, currently working in the United States.

While she was growing up she studied ballet, and switched to full-time acting in 2006.^[2]

She was nominated for a Young Actor AFI for her role in Suburban Mayhem. She is currently starring in HBO's new series In Treatment.
