Mia Wasikowska is an Australian-born actor. Although still a teenager, Mia has landed a number of prestigious roles in the last couple of years, and is in great demand by Hollywood's best directors.

Mia Wasikowska first appeared in the Australian hit television series All Saints before appearing as a regular in the HBO psychotherapist drama In Treatment with Gabriel Byrne.

Mia has finished filming Mira Nair's Amelia, a film about pilot legend Amelia Earhart, which stars Hilary Swank and Richard Gere.

Mia has also just finished filming I Hate to See That Evening Sun Go Down with Hal Holbrook and Dixie Carter.

Mia has accepted the title role in Tim Burton's film for Disney, Alice in Wonderland. She will be working with Johnny Depp, who will be playing The Mad Hatter, as well as Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway.
